Charles Dicken's bicentenary of birth

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) was an English  author, who wrote numerous highly acclaimed novels, including his autobiographical David Copperfield and also The Adventures of Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Hard Times, among many others. He is generally considered the greatest of the Victorian period.
